Unexpected moments in a rundown spot

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, leading to restful nights despite the overall condition. The front desk staff greeted us with warm smiles.

Unfortunately, the hotel was in disrepair, with stained walls and a musty odor in the hallways. It felt more neglected than welcoming, leaving us uneasy during our stay.

stayed at la quinta for 2 nights. the breakfast was decent, one of the best parts of my stay. it's also conveniently close to downtown, making it easy to explore the area. the double room with two double beds was...  

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to assist, especially at check-in. Rooms were clean and spacious, although my friend uncovered used coffee filters that raised concerns about cleanliness. The breakfast had good variety, but the absence of fresh fruit was noted.

The friendly staff made my stay enjoyable 😊. I enjoyed the comfortable room, but the carpets were badly stained.

Good water pressure and hot water made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast area was clean and well-maintained, and the friendly staff did their best under challenging circumstances. However, a used towel was left hanging on the bathroom door, raising concerns about cleanliness. While the TV was an upgrade, overall upkeep seemed lacking.

Had a great time with my friends! We checked out the nearby Lakes of Taylor Golf Club for some fun golfing and spent an afternoon at Elizabeth Park Marina. The location was super convenient, close to shopping and dining....  

Staying here with our grown children was enjoyable. The nearby Lakes of Taylor Golf Club offered a fun day out for the family, and we appreciated the friendly staff who made our check-in process...  

I had a pleasant stay at La Quinta in Southgate while exploring the area. The clean room provided comfort after a long day. Staff friendliness made my experience even better, though I encountered some delays for towels. Overall, a nice stop during my travels!

Enjoyed a pleasant two-night stay with my cat. The staff was welcoming and well-versed in pet-friendly policies. The on-site dining options were a nice surprise—great food while relaxing! For pet owners, it’s refreshing to find a place without extra fees. Just make sure to check in before dark.

Family with children good enough

The breakfast was better than I thought it would be, homemade waffles and a good selection of baked goods. Plus, the staff was incredibly nice. I even asked them for extra towels and they got them to me right away without a hitch....
